  My husband Ashleigh became poorly, whilst putting a roof on, at our 'shack' at Second Valley, last Wednesday 21st June 2017. He rang me (I was in Adelaide-nearly 2 hours away) saying he thought he was having a heart attack and could I ring an ambulance!!

  Ash will hopefully be discharged today Saturday and begin a new phase in his life...having survived a heart attack. We are so, so thankful for the 'top class' service provided by the Yankalilla Ambulance Service, as I said at the hospital when you were leaving...a red carpet needs to be rolled out, for the service you provided. We can't thank you enough, forever in gratitude, yours sincerely Jane

  Upon doing so, my fear was - how long would it take for the ambulance to arrive? Amazingly it took 12 minutes!! We are in awe at the time taken, the care given and attentiveness in getting Ash and his dad to Flinders Hospital and allowing Ash to contact me at different stages, to advise me of what was happening. Then on arrival at the hospital, allowing myself and our daughter to connect and comfort him!
